Description:
BayCare Health System's Saint Joseph Children's Hospital (SJCH) in Tampa, Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatric Critical Care Physician to work in our Medical/Surgical Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This state-of-the-art, 16-bed unit is staffed by a dedicated team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who deliver high-quality care to critically ill children from infancy through adolescence.
We are seeking a candidate who is board certified or board eligible Pediatric Intensivist for competitive compensation commensurate with level of experience.
The Pediatric Critical Care Physician will be full-time in Tampa, report to the local unit Director, and be hired by the collaborating UPMC Children's Hospital Pittsburgh, UPMC (CHP). The candidate must meet the standard qualifications for hire by CHP/University of Pittsburgh Physicians. The CHP Pediatric Critical Care Division's clinical and administrative resources are available as part of the collaboration between CHP and SJCH.

Qualifications:
The optimal candidate should be BE/BC in Pediatric Critical care and Pediatric Cardiology or BE/BC in Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiology with one-year advanced training in Cardiac Critical Care Medicine. Experienced BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologists or Intensivists with no dedicated Cardiac Critical Care training will be considered as well.
Current medical licensure in the state of Florida.
Proven experience in a pediatric cardiac critical care setting.
